National Bureau of Statistics informs that, that producer prices (average sale prices by agricultural enterprises) of agricultural products in 2014 compared to 2013 increased 6,6%. Average selling prices for plant products increased with 4,7%, for animal products – with 14,8%.

National Bureau of Statistics communicates that, following the data of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in 2014, there were registered 41,8 thousand crimes on the territory of the republic, representing an increase of 9,5% as compared to the previous year and compared to 2010 period the crime level increased 1,3 times. Crime rates is 117 offenses per 10,000 inhabitants, compared to 94 offenses in 2010.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in December 2014, the turnover volume of enterprises with main economic activity in retail trade (with the exception trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles) registered an increase of 22,2% (in comparable prices) compared to previous month and 18,4% compared to December 2013. In 2014, the turnover volume for retail trade (with the exception trade of motor vehicles and motorcycles) increased with 7,5% (in comparable prices) against the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the average salary in national economy constituted 4172,0 Lei in 2013, and it increased in nominal value with 10,8% and in real value (adjusted to consumer price index) - with 5,4%. Imports of goods in December 2014 registered a value of 505,1 mio. US dollars, which is with 8,8% more than in the previous month and with 9,0% less compared to December 2013. In 2014 imports summed up 5317,0 mio. USD, less than in 2013 with 3,2%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2014 283,0 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 189,1 thou. Moldovan tourists (66,8%) and 93,9 thou. foreign tourists (33,2%). In comparison with 2013 the number of tourists has increased (+4,2%), mainly due to the increased of the number of tourists in touristic villas, recreation camps (+45,8%), hotels and motels (+7,6%) and health structures (+2,7%).

Most indicators in this compartment were calculated for the first time and can not be found in other compartments of the Statbank. Also, the indicators are part of the Minimum Set of Gender Indicators developed by the UN Statistical Commission. Data are available for 2008-2013 and will be updated annually.
