The National Bureau of Statistics informs that insurance companies in January-September 2025:

• received accrued gross premiums in the amount of 2443,9 mln. lei, increasing by 0,9% compared to the same period of the previous year;

• paid out insurance indemnities and compensations in the amount of 1046,8 mln. lei, or 16,1% more than in January-September of 2024;

• recorded revenues and expenses higher than those in the corresponding period of 2024, respectively by 0,3% and 3,7%.
