The National Bureau of Statistics presents a new edition of the statistical pocketbook „Moldova in figures" (English version). This edition comes with a revised and improved format compared to previous editions, in order to facilitate the understanding of statistical data by the general public and to increase interest in them.

In the publication we have selected indicators from various fields, which show what the situation is in our country, how we have developed and what are the challenges for the future.

Moldova in figures presents figures and findings in the form of text, tables, graphs, maps and infographics on population and demographic processes, economy and finance, living and working conditions, agriculture and the environment, indicators on sustainable development and comparisons in 2021 compared to previous years.

The data for previous years for some indicators are specified compared to those previously published, for the year 2021 for a number of indicators the data are preliminary and can be specified in subsequent editions. The information is presented without the data of enterprises and organizations on the left bank of the Dniester and the municipality of Bender, except in the cases specifically mentioned, when the indicators are presented in total in the country.
