National Bureau of Statistics presents information on the situation of young people in the Republic of Moldova in 2024.

Young people represent about a quarter of the population.

The number of the population with usual residence population on January 1, 2025 constituted 2381,3 thousand persons, of which 544,0 thousand or 22,8% were young people aged 14-34 years.

The distribution of young people by sex was as follows: 48,6% - males and 51,4% - females.
