The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2023:

• the number of active enterprises constituted 41,8 thousand enterprises, or 0,7% more than in 2022;

• the largest share in the total number of active enterprises was registered by enterprises in the sector of wholesale and retail trade, constituting 39,0% of the total number of active enterprises.
