Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Moldova, edition 2016 was published
National Bureau of Statistics has published the "Statistical Yearbook of the Republic of Moldova", edition 2016 in printed form and on CD-ROM. The Yearbook is structured in 24 chapters and includes 330 tables and diagrams. Each chapter contains methodological notes for basic indicators.

The publication "Results of the sampling structural survey of enterprises" was posted
The publication presents the results of enterprises activity (including small and medium) received as a result of data processing of the Sampling Structural Survey spent in 2015, with application of sample survey methods. The Structural Survey contains a set of indicators, by means of which the whole industrial and commercial system of the enterprise is characterized.

The statistical compilation "Natural resources and environment in Republic of Moldova", edition 2016, published on the web
The publication contains statistics concerning the air protection in atmosphere, the use of aquatic resources, the existence of land and forestry resources, formation and use of consumption and production waste, protected natural areas, the association of hunting, violations of ecologic legislation. For the first time chapters regarding natural disasters and change of weather were included in the publication.

Publication "National accounts, 2015" was published
The publication contains data regarding the system of national accounts of the Republic of Moldova for the year 2015. Tables with macroeconomic indicators that characterize the socio-economic situation of the country as a whole, by economic activities and institutional sectors are presented.

Publication "Territorial statistics", edition 2016, posted on the web page
National Bureau of Statistics informs that the publication "Territorial statistics", edition 2016 has been posted on the website. The publication contains information regarding social-economical and demographic situation in territorial aspect (development regions/municipalities, rayons and statistical regions) for the period 2011-2015. For the first time the indicator Regional Gross Domestic Product has been calculated and included in this edition.

Experience sharing with Statistical Office of Lithuania
On 30 November–2 December, representatives of the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova are in a study visit at the Statistical Office of Lithuania. The goal of the visit is to discuss about the reorganisation of regional statistical boards.

The seminar "The role of geographic information in statistical production processes and data dissemination"
During 24-28 October, Janusz Dygaszewicz, expert in Geographic Information System (GIS) from the Central Statistical Office of Poland, is in a mission at the National Bureau of Statistics. During the mission recent trends and best practices used in the National Statistical Institutes in EU regarding the spatial statistical analysis and use of statistical cartography were presented.
