In January 2009 the average consumer prices have dropped compared to prices in December 2008 by 0,1 percents, being influenced by the decrease in prices for nonfood products – with 0,6 percents, as well as by the increase in prices for food products and increase of tariffs for services rendering to population by 0,2 percents each. In January 2009 compared to January 2008 average consumer prices have increased by 5,7 percents (in January 2008 compared to December 2007 average consumer price registered 101,4 percents and 113,8% compared to January 2007).
