For the first time chapters regarding natural disasters and change of weather were included in the publication. Also, the compilation contains data concerning demographic situation and health conditions of population, some economical indicators. There is a special compartment dedicated to environment state in cities.

The publication presents the results of enterprises activity (including small and medium) received as a result of data processing of the Sampling Structural Survey spent in 2016, with application of sample survey methods. The Structural Survey contains a set of indicators, by means of which the whole industrial and commercial system of the enterprise is characterized.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in quarter III 2016, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 2224,4 lei, which is with 6,9% more than in the similar period of 2016. In real terms population incomes were at the same level as in previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the third quarter of 2017 the Gross domestic product on gross series totaled 45523 mil. lei current market prices, increasing - in real terms - by 5,4% compared to quarter III of 2016. On the series seasonally adjusted, Gross domestic product increased by 5,9% compared to third quarter of 2016 and by 3,6% compared to the second quarter of 2017.

At the beginning of the academic year 2017/18, the number of vocational technical education institutions was 86 units, including 11 centers of excellence, 32 colleges and 43 vocational schools. 46,6 thou. pupils study in technical vocational institutions, of which 13,8 thou. - in centers of excellence and 17,4 thou. pupils each in vocational schools and 15.4 thou. - in colleges.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in Octomber 2017, the industrial production increased by 9,9% compared to the corresponding month of the previous year, as a result of increase of the manufacturing industry.In the same time, the quarrying industry and the production of electricity, gas, steam, hot water and air conditioning supply registered a decrease.

The estimated number of people with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova is 182,0 thousand people, including 11,7 thousand children aged 0-17 years. Persons with disabilities represent 5,1% of total population of the country, and children with disabilities constitute approximately 1,7% of all children from Moldova.
