(Comunicat) Activity of the technical vocational educational institutions in the academic year 2015/16
The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, at the beginning of the study year 2015/16, the number of pupils in secondary technical vocational education was of 16,1 thousand people, 8,1% less than in the previous school year. Most pupils (95,3%) are studying in the educational institutions located in urban areas. This education level is required more of boys, their share is of 70,7% or of 1,9 percentage points more than in the study year 2014/15.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-October 2015 exports of goods amounted 1636,7 mln. USD, while imports of goods amounted 3299,2 mln. USD. Compared to the same period of the 2014, exports decreased by 16,1% and imports by 24,1%.The trade balance deficit in January-October 2015 has been of 1662,5 mln. USD, lower by 735,1 mln. USD (-30,7%) than that recorded in the corresponding period of 2014.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the III-rd quarter 2015 the economically active population (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1349,2 thousand persons, more with 2,2% (29,6 thou.) compared to the III-rd quarter 2014. The structure of the active population has not changed compared with the corresponding period of the previous year: the share of employed persons was 96,7% to 91,5%, and the share of unemployed persons - 3,3%.

The estimated number of people with disabilities in the Republic of Moldova is 184,8 thousand people, including 13,4 thousand children aged 0-17 years. This is higher than the previous five years with 2,7% per hole, while a decrease of 11,3% is registered in the number of children situation. Persons with disabilities represent 5,2% of total population of the country, and children with disabilities constitute approximately 2% of all children from Moldova. On average at 10 thousand inhabitants there are 520 people with disabilities while for 10 thousand of children there are 193 children aged 0-17 years. Almost every seventh person with disability falls into the category of severe disability.
