National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2023:

• there were 21 doctoral schools (at the level of 2022);

• the number of doctoral students amounted to 1.5 thousand people, decreasing by 0.1 thousand people (or 6.1%) compared to the previous year;

• 10 higher education institutions had postdoctoral programmes (as of 2022).
