National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2023, compared to the previous year, in the entities that carried out research and development activity:

• worked in the given area with 9 percent fewer employees;

• were spent for the specified activity with 40.9 million lei more (or with 6.5%), recording about 0.22% of GDP (in 2022 – 0.23%).
