The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2025, in early childhood education institutions: 

• 1465 institutions were active, of which 351 units operated in urban areas and 1114 units in rural areas;

• the number of enrolled children was 122.9 thousand people, of which 121.9 thousand children (or 99.2%) were in publicly owned institutions and 1.0 thousand children (or 0.8%) in private institutions;

• per 100 places in early childhood education institutions there were an average of 70 children;

• the number of management and teaching staff was 12.5 thousand people.
