National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, in the fourth quarter of 2024:

• the average gross monthly earnings amounted to 15024,5 lei, and increased by 12,1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 and by 6,4% compared to the third quarter of 2024;

• the index of real earnings (calculated as the ratio between the index of gross nominal earnings and the consumer price index), compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, amounted to 105,9%, which means that earnings increased in real terms by 5,9%;

• the average number of employees, compared to the fourth quarter of 2023, increased by 0,6%.
