Children’s Activities

In the second quarter of 2025, the National Bureau of Statistics of the Republic of Moldova (NBS) conducted the statistical survey “Children’s Activities” (CA) as an additional module to the Labour Force Survey.

The objectives of the survey were to obtain the most recent information on the socio-demographic characteristics of children aged 5 to 17, their involvement in school, economic, and household activities at the national level, under conditions of international comparability, and also to assess the situation and extent of the phenomenon of “child labour” in the Republic of Moldova.
