National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the survey ,,Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the fourth quarter 2024":

• the labour force (active population aged 15 years and over) was 849,5 thousand persons, which is 7.6% less than in the fourth quarter of 2023;

• the employed population aged 15 and over was 816.7 thousand persons, 6.6% less than in the fourth quarter 2023;

• the unemployment rate for the country as a whole amounted to 3.9%, decreasing by 1.0 percentage points, compared to the fourth quarter of 2023 (4.9%).
