National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the fourth quarter of 2023:

• the population outside the labour force aged 15 and over was 1139.8 thousand persons, decreasing by 7.1% compared to the fourth quarter of 2022;

• the inactivity rate of the population aged 15 and over was 55.3%, down by 2.3 percentage points compared to the fourth quarter of 2022.
