National Bureau of Statistics informs that, exports of goods in October 2013 registered a value of 224,8 mio. US dollars, with 14,9% more than in the previous month and with 6,9% - compared to October 2012. Imports of goods in October 2013 registered a value of 480,4 mio. US dollars, with 5,4% more than in the previous month and with 3,3% less compared to October 2012.

The publication presents the results of enterprises activity (including small and medium) received as a result of data processing of the Sampling Structural Survey spent in 2012, with application of sample survey methods. Analytical tables containing main economical indicators, including by types of activities, forms of ownership and size of enterprise are presented.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 3rd quarter 2013 the economically active population (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1328,2 thousand persons, more with 3,2% (41,3 thou.) compared to the 3rd quarter 2012. The structure of the active population has changed as follows: the share of employed persons increased from 95,2% to 96,1%, while the share of unemployed persons decreased from 4,8% to 3,9%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the social protection bodies of the population of the Republic of Moldova record about 183 000 people with disabilities. On average, from 10 000 of inhabitants there are 516 people with disabilities and every sixth person with disability fall into the category of severe disability. People with disabilities represent 5,2% of total population and the children with disabilities - 2,1% of the total number of children in Moldova.
