The National Bureau of Statistics presents data regarding the foreign trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-July 2009. Exports of goods in July 2009 registered a value of 111,3 mln. US dollars, which is 3,4% more than in the previous month and 28,7% less than in July 2008. Imports of goods in July 2009 registered a value of 264,8 mln. National Bureau of Statistics informs you that in June 2009 trading enterprises sold in retail, consumer products in the amount of 1618,6 million MDL that is with 0,5% bigger in the total mass of commodities than in previous month and with 4,5% less as compared to June 2008. The volume of charged services rendered to the population by officially registered enterprises in June 2009 made up 972,1 million MDL that is 1,2% less in comparable prices than in previous month and with 2,9 % bigger compared to June 2008.

The decrease of the volume of transported goods has been registered by railway (-69,2%), road (-50,2%), air (-10,3%) and river (-4,7%) transport.
