National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2015 the economically active population (employed population plus unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1265,6 thousand persons, increased with 2,7% (33,2 thousand) compared to the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2015 monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 1956,6 lei, which is with 10,7% more than in 2014. In real terms (adjusted to the consumer price index) population incomes registerd an increase of 0,9%. Monthly population expenditures in 2015 in average per person constituted 2048,5 lei, which is with 12,8% more than in 2014.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January 2016 the average gross nominal earnings constituted 4665,8 Lei and it increased with 9,5% compared to January 2015. The index of the real salary in January 2016 compared to January 2015 was 96,6% or less with 3,4% compared to previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in February 2016 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 694,8 thou. tonnes of goods, with 45,2% more than in the previous month and with 12,6% less compared to February 2015. The turnover of goods in February 2016 summed up 262,6 mio. tonne-km, with 43,2% more than in the previous month and with 6,1% less compared to February 2015.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the IV-th quarter 2015 the economically active population (employed population and unemployed persons) of the Republic of Moldova was 1222,3 thousand persons, more with 6,0% (68,9 thou.) compared to the IV-th quarter 2014. The structure of the active population has changed as follows: the share of employed persons decreased from 96,5% to 95,8%, while the share of unemployed persons increased from 3,5% to 4,2%.
