The National Bureau of Statistics reports that in January-September 2025, collective tourist accommodation structures were visited by 400.0 thousand tourists (9.6% more than in the same period of 2024 year), including 187.8 thousand resident tourists (47.0% of the total) and 212.2 thousand (53.0%) non-resident tourists. Increases in tourist accommodation were recorded in hotels and motels (+12.8%), hostels for visitors (+0.3%), tourist and agrotourist pensions (+28.5%), health care structures (+6.5%). At the same time, the number of tourists accommodated in recreation structures decreased by 5.7%, in children’s camps – by 3.2%.

A significant share of the total number of foreign tourists accommodated were citizens of: Ukraine (34.9% of the total), Romania (19.9%), the USA (4.9%), Germany (3.3%), Turkey (3.2%), Israel (2.8%), Poland and Italy (2.6% each), United Kingdom (2.0%) and France (1.8%).
