National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2019, 55,3 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 31,0 thou. foreign tourists (56,0% from total) and 24,3 thou. Moldovan tourists (44,0%). In comparison to January-March 2018, the number of tourists accommodated in the collective tourist reception facilities increased (+11,4%), due to its growth in holiday camps for pupils (4,0 times), rest structures (+41,2%), tourist and agrotouristic pensions (+15,6%), hotels and motels (+13,5%). At the same time, the number of tourists accommodated in hostels for visitors (-40,5%)  was reduced.
