The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the fourth quarter of 2022, the average gross monthly nominal earnings, at units in the real sector with 4 or more employees and all budget institutions, was 11539,1 lei and increased compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 in nominal value by 18,1%, and in real terms, adjusted for the consumer price index, it decreased by 10,6%.

In the budgetary sector, the average monthly nominal gross earnings, in the fourth quarter of 2022, was 9894,8lei (20,1% more compared to the fourth quarter of 2021), and in the real sector – 12129,0lei, (17,5% more compared to the fourth quarter of 2021).

In 2022, the average monthly nominal gross earnings was 10529,1 lei, increased compared to 2021 in nominal value by 15,5%, and in real terms – decreased by 10,3%.
