Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2013

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 940,1 thou. tonnes of goods with 0,6% less than in the previous month and with 0,8% more compared to May 2012. The turnover of goods in May 2013 summed up 345,1 mio. tonne-km, with 2,3% more than in the previous month and with 3,8% - compared to May 2012.

In January-May 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 3848,9 thou. tonnes of goods, with 16,6%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1520,0 mio. tonne-km, with 11,0% more than in the January-May 2012.
