Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2015

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in February 2015 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 737,8 thou. tonnes of goods, with 19,1% more than in the previous month and with 8,0% - compared to February 2014. The turnover of goods in February 2015 summed up 266,8 mio. tonne-km, with 26,1% more than in the previous month and with 6,1% less compared to February 2014.

In January-February 2015 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1357,1 thou. tonnes of goods, with 4,1%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 478,5 mio. tonne-km, with 6,8% less than in the January-February 2014.
