Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-April 2012

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in April 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 690,4 thou. tonnes of goods with 7,9% more than in the previous month and with 3,2% more than in April 2011. The turnover of goods in April 2012 summed up 290,6 mio tonne-km, with 1,7% less than in the previous month and with 7,1% more than in April 2011.

In January-April 2012 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 2168,4 thou. tonnes of goods, with 19,1%  less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 974,2 mio. tonne-km, with 11,1% less than in the January-April 2011.
