Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-February 2013

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in February 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 649,9 thou. tonnes of goods with 72,5% more than in the previous month and with 47,3% - compared to February 2012. The turnover of goods in February 2013 summed up 298,5 mio. tonne-km, with 64,5% more than in the previous month and with 28,3% - compared to February 2012.

In January-February 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1026,7 thou. tonnes of goods, with 17,1%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 480,0 mio. tonne-km, with 12,0% more than in the January-February 2012.
