Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-June 2016

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in June 2016 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1078,5 thou. tonnes of goods, with 2,2% more than in the previous month and with 9,4% lees compared to June 2015. The turnover of goods in June 2016 summed up 313,3 mio. tonne-km, with 2,7% more than in the previous month and with 6,1% less compared to June 2015.

In January-June 2016 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 5318,2 thou. tonnes of goods, with 12,0%  less than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 1715,0 mio. tonne-km, with 6,3% less than in the January-June 2015.
