Freight and passenger transportation in the Republic of Moldova in January-October 2014

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in October 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1648,0 thou. tonnes of goods with 7,6% less than in the previous month and with 0,9% more compared to October 2013. The turnover of goods in October 2014 summed up 404,2 mio. tonne-km, with 0,8% less than in the previous month and with 7,8% compared to October 2013.

In January-October 2014 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, transported 11605,8 thou. tonnes of goods, with 5,9%  more than in the corresponding period of the previous year. The turnover of goods summed up 3378,2 mio. tonne-km, with 5,5% less than in the January-October 2013.
