The National Bureau of Statistics, in partnership with the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova (ASEM), through the IT4BA Innovation Incubator and the Faculty of Information Technologies and Economic Statistics, with the support of strategic partners Innovate Moldova (funded by Sweden) and BC “MAIB” SA, invites you to take part in DATASTORM 2025 – Innovation through Data, a multidisciplinary event dedicated to digital transformation through data science, statistical analysis, artificial intelligence and technological innovation. The event DATASTORM 2025 – Innovation through Data is part of the series of events organised on the occasion of World Statistics Day 2025.

The event will take place on 31 October 2025, from 09:00 to 14:00(ASEM, Block A, 61 Bănulescu-Bodoni Street), and is organized in the context of World Statistics Day, which is celebrated every five years on 20 October. The slogan of World Statistics Day 2025 is “Quality statistics and data for everyone”.

What is DATASTORM 2025?

DATASTORM is more than a conference – it is a platform for interaction between academia, the public sector and the private sector, bringing together:

• experts and practitioners in thematic panels;
• companies and organizations in the Innovation & B2B Interaction Fair;
• students and young researchers in the Data Scientist Challenge competition.

The event offers a dynamic setting for exchanging ideas, showcasing applied technological solutions and exploring the latest trends in data science, statistical analysis and artificial intelligence.
