National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the survey ,,Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the fourth quarter 2023":

• thelabour force (active population aged 15 years and over) was 919.6 thousand persons, which is 1.8% more than in the fourth quarter of 2022;

• the employed population aged 15 and over was 874.7 thousand persons, up by 1.4% compared to the fourth quarter of 2022;

• the unemployment rate for the country as a whole was 4.9%, increasing by 0.3 percentage points compared to the level of the fourth quarter of 2022 (4.6%).
