About

A number of absolute and relative indicators are used to characterize migration processes. Absolute indicators include: number of arrivals, number of departures, increase in migration (flow) of the population. Migration is divided into domestic and international (immigrants and emigrants).

The NBS calculates the data based on information received from the PSA (on the number of people who have changed their place of residence in the country) and the GIBP (on the number of people crossing the state border).

The data is published annually.
