The National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-March 2019 tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 38,3 thousand tourists and excursionists, with 7,3% more than in the corresponding period of 2018. The growth of the number of tourists and excursionists was caused by increase of internal tourism, inbound tourism. In the same time, the number of tourists decreased of outbound tourism.

In comparison to January-March 2018, the number of tourists accommodated in the collective tourist reception facilities increased, due to its growth in holiday camps for pupils, rest structures, tourist and agrotouristic pensions, hotels and motels. At the same time, the number of tourists accommodated in hostels for visitors was reduced.
