National Bureau of Statistics informs that in August 2023 producer prices in industry:

• decreased compared to July with 1,0%, the decrease in prices was due to the decrease in prices both on the foreign market (with 2,5%) and on the domestic market (with 0,2%).

• have increased with 1,7% since the beginning of this year and with 9,7% compared to August 2022.

In the extractive industry, in August 2023 producer prices increased with 1,5% compared to current July, with 3,3% compared to December 2022 and with 4,1% compared to August 2022.

In the manufacturing industry, in August 2023 producer prices decreased with 1,2% compared to the current July, and compared to December 2022 prices increased with 1,8% and compared to August 2022 – with 6,0%.

In the energy sector, in August 2023 producer prices remained at the level of the current July, and compared to December 2022 prices increased with 0,2% and compared to August 2022 – with 43,9%.
