National Bureau of Statistics informs that in May 2024 producer prices in industry:

• increased by 1.9% compared to April this year and by 0.4% since the beginning of this year;

• decreased by 1,3% compared to May 2023.

In extractive industry, producer prices in May 2024 increased compared to April 2024 - by 0.3%, compared to December 2023 prices increased by 5.9% and compared to May 2023 - by 8.0%.

In manufacturing industry, producer prices in May 2024 increased compared to April of this year and to December 2023 by 2.1% and compared to May 2023 - by 0.8%.

In the energy sector, producer prices in May 2024 remained at the same level as in April of this year, and compared to December 2023 prices decreased by 19.4% and compared to May 2023 - by 24.2%.
