The National Bureau of Statistics announces the public consultation of the draft Government decision on amending Government Decision No. 935/2018 concerning the organization and functioning of the National Bureau of Statistics.
Based on Article 11 of Law No. 239/2008 on transparency in the decision-making process and point 15 of the Annex to Government Decision No. 967/2016 “Regarding the mechanism of public consultation with civil society in the decision-making process,” the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), as the central authority in the field of statistics, proposes for public consultation the Tabulation Plan for the final results of the 2024 Population and Housing Census.

The Population and Housing Census (census or PHC) aims to provide public information about the resident population (hereinafter referred to as “population”) and their housing in the country for the development, monitoring, and evaluation of state policies, for supporting human development decisions, and for scientific research.
