Living standard of the population
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that in quarter I 2013, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 1559,8 lei, which is with 8,5% more than in the similar period of 2012. Monthly population expenditures in quarter I 2013 in average per person constituted 1656,1 lei, which is with 9,6% more than in the corresponding period of 2012.
National Bureau of Statistics informs, that exports of goods in April 2013 registered a value of 191,2 mio. US dollars, with 13,7% less than in the previous month and with 5,2% more compared to April 2012. Imports of goods in April 2013 registered a value of 486,1 mio. US dollars, with 0,4% less than in the previous month and with 13,9% more compared to April 2012.

In January-March 2013, the investments in construction-assembly works amounted to 784,4 mio.lei, what represents an increase with 9,4% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year.

Public water supply and sewerage systems
National Bureau of Statistics is announcing that, in 2012 on the territory of the country there were placed 742 water supply systems, of which 571 units - public ownership, 168 - private, 3 - mixed ownership. From the total of aqueducts during 2012 year there had acted 677 systems (91,2%) or with 34 aqueducts more than in previous year and with 163 compared with 2008.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-March 2013 36,5 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 19,4 thou. Moldovan tourists (53,0%) and 17,2 thou. foreign tourists (47,0%). In comparison with January-March 2012 the number of tourists has increased (+2,1%), mainly due to the increase of the number of tourists and recreation camps, and other recreation structures (+29,0%), hostels (+10,4%), tourist and agrotourist pensions (+9,8%), hotels and motels (+6,4%).

National Bureau of Statistics reports that of the total area of urban land, 7,4 thou. hectares or 9,4% are occupied by green spaces, the same level as in the previous year. 56,4% of the surface of these areas are for general use (squares, gardens, parks, etc.), the remaining being the spaces of touristic and entertainment zones (17,3%), limited access areas – 13% and areas with utility purposes (8,1%).
