The touristic activity of tourism agencies and tour-operators in January-September 2013

The National Bureau of Statistics informs that in January-September 2013 tourism agencies and tour-operators provided tourism services to 172,5 thousand tourists and excursionists, that is with 7,5% more than in the corresponding period of 2012.

In January-September 2013, compared to the corresponding period of 2012, the number of arrived and departed tourists and excursionists increased, with 9,7% and 6,5% accordingly, whereas, the number of internal tourism decreased with 3,1%.
