National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the indices of industrial production in January-December 2013 compared to January-December 2012 constituted 106,8%. In December 2013 compared to December 2012 the indices of industrial production registered 111,3%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, the average salary in national economy constituted 3765,1 Lei in 2012, and it increased in nominal value with 8,3% and in real value (adjusted to consumer price index) - with 3,5%. In December 2013, the average gross nominal earnings represented 4278,7 Lei and incrased with 10,0% more compared to December 2012.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in December 2013, the turnover volume of enterprises with main economic activity in retail trade registered an increase of 13,9% (in comparable prices) compared to previous month and 11,7% compared with December 2012. National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2013 tourist agencies and tour-operators provided tourist services to 204,9 thousand tourists and excursionists, that is 5,6% more than in 2012. Number of tourists and excursionists participating at the exit and entrance tourism organized by the tourist agencies and tour-operators in 2013 increased with 7,3% and 2,8% correspondingly, compared to 2012 , whereas, the number of domestic tourism decreased 0,6%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in 2013 271,5 thou. tourists attended the establishments of collective touristic accommodation, of which 175,9 thou. Moldovan tourists (64,8%) and 95,6 thou. foreign tourists (35,2%). In comparison with 2012 the number of tourists has increased (+1,2%), mainly due to the increase of the number of tourists in hostels (+8,9%), hotels and motels (+6,0%), health-care structures (+2,9%) and holiday camps for children (+1,1%).

US dollars, which is with 20,0% less than in the previous month and with 7,9% more than in December 2012. In 2013 exports summed up 2399,1 mio. USD, more than in 2012 with 11,0%. Imports of goods in December 2013 registered a value of 554,9 mio. US dollars, which is with 13,9% more than in the previous month and with 10,0% - compared to December 2012. In 2013 imports summed up 5492,7 mio. USD, more than in 2012 with 5,4%.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that network of primary and general secondary education is constituted of 1374 schools, gymnasiums and lyceums, including 1372 day schools and 2 evening schools. The majority of primary and general secondary education (98,7%) represents public property. At the same time, in the country activated 18 non-public lyceums which are located only in urban areas.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in November 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 1560,6 thou. tonnes of goods with 2,6% less than in the previous month and with 30,9% more compared to November 2012. In January-November 2013 enterprises of railway, road, river and air transport, have transported 12437,5 thou. tonnes of goods, with 22,8% more than in the corresponding period of the previous year.

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in quarter III 2013, monthly disposable incomes of population summed up in average per person 1755,5 lei, which is with 16,6% more than in the similar period of 2012. In real terms (adjusted to the consumer price index) population incomes registerd an increase of 12,1%. Monthly population expenditures in quarter III 2013 in average per person constituted 1888,0 lei, which is with 12,6% more than in the corresponding period of 2012.
