National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the real sector units with 4 or more employees and all budgetary institutions, in the third quarter of 2025:

• the average gross monthly earnings amounted to 15487,8 lei, and increased by 9,7% compared to the third quarter of 2024 and at the same level (+0,1%) compared to the second quarter of 2025;
• the index of real earnings (calculated as the ratio between the index of gross nominal earnings and the consumer price index), compared to the third quarter of 2024, amounted to 102,1%, indicating a 2,1% real-term increase in earnings;
• the average number of employees, compared to the third quarter of 2024, increased by 1,4%.
