Overall aim and objectives                        Development and implementation of strategies to address cross-cutting child rights issue.
Components and core activities  
  • Strengthening the availability of statistical data in main areasrelevand to children (education, social protection, demography, health, children (education, social protection, demography, health, standard of living, etc.) to facilitate the policy implementation and monitoring of children's rights, including in the framework of the SDGs.
  • Improve dissemination of disaggregated data in order to ensure international comparability and use of data for policy planning and monitoring on children's rights.

Achievements  
  • The analysis of NBS official statistics on education (primary general secondary level) and administrative data from MECR / EMIS in order to optimise data collection processes – was conducted; 
  • The TransMonEE regional database – updated;
  • National version of children database was updated and is already available for  the public;
  • Developed and disseminated to the public: the publication "Children of Moldova" (2020 edition) in open format and the set of infographics on children.

Conducted the analysis on Poverty and well-being of households with children.

  • Was developed a roadmap on Sustainable Development Goals indicators relevant to children;
  • The nomenclature of activities prohibited to children according to the new draft of the Classification of Occupations (2021 edition)- was revised;
  • Developed a methodological guide for producers and users on measuring "child labour”.
