The booklet "Youth in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) and Sustainable Development Goals (SDG)", reflects the situation of young people in the CIS region for the period 2000-2019. The compilation is produced by the Statistical Council of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CISSTAT) with the support of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA).

Youth is one of the key target groups of the global Sustainable Development Agenda 2030 and is the subject of this brochure.

The publication is structured in 5 sections: demography; health; education; labour and the well-being of young people in the CIS countries.
