National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in the quarter I 2023, the average gross monthly nominal earnings at the units in the real sector with 4 and more employees as well all budgetary institutions constituted 11486,2 lei, compared to the quarter I 2022, increasing in nominal value with 20,1%, and in real terms (adjusted to the consumer price index) - decreasing with 3,9%.

The real earnings index in the first quarter of 2023 compared to the first quarter of 2022 (calculated as the ratio between the gross earnings index and the consumer price index) was 96,1%.
