Scope and general objectives: | The overall objective of the project is to develop the National Statistical System in order to ensure the reliability of statistical data and to improve the quality, as well as for the NBS to improve its institutional capacity to produce statistics in accordance with both international and European standards. Technical/professional objective - improved level of competence of NBS staff to ensure the production of reliable statistics. Organizational objective - to develop the overall functioning of the NBS, including management and planning aspects. Institutional capacity building - improving institutional competencies, including policy, documentation and standardization. The image of the office within the Republic of Moldova society is also part of capacity building. |
