External trade activity of the Republic of Moldova in January-May 2016

National Bureau of Statistics informs that, in January-May 2016 exports of goods amounted 748,7 mln. USD, while imports of goods amounted 1544,5 mln. USD. Compared to the same period of the 2015, exports decreased by 7,8% and imports by 5,5%.

The trade balance deficit in January-May 2016 has been of 795,8 mil. USD, with 25,9 mln. USD (+ 3,2%) less than that recorded in the corresponding period of 2015.
