National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to preliminary estimates, the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) in the first quarter of 2024 constituted 67,4 billion lei (current market prices), increasing in real terms with 1,9% compared to the first quarter of 2023 on gross series. On the seasonally adjusted series, GDP in the first quarter of 2024 increased by 1.4% compared to the first quarter of 2023 and by 2.5% compared to the fourth quarter of 2023.
