National Bureau of Statistics informs that, according to the results of the survey ,,Labour Force Survey (LFS), in the second quarter 2024":

• the labour force (active population aged 15 years and over) was 900,1 thousand persons, which is 3.7% less than in the second quarter of 2023;

• the employed population aged 15 and over was 865.2 thousand persons, 3.8% less than in second quarter 2023;

• the unemployment rate for the country as a whole amounted to 3.9%, decreasing by 0.5 percentage points compared to the previous quarter (4.4%) and slightly increasing (by 0.1 p.p.) compared to the second quarter of 2023 (3.8%).
