National Bureau of Statistics informs, that the statistical publication "Agricultural activity of small agricultural producers in the Republic of Moldova in 2015", edition 2016 was published in electronic format.
The publication contains quarterly statistical information which presents the economic, social and demographic situation of the municipality Chisinau. The publication contains statistical indicators regarding industry, agriculture, investments in long term tangible assets and construction, transport, communications, tourism, domestic trade of goods, insurance, work remuneration, labour force market, unemployment, demographic situation, crimes.
The publication contains flash information with the economic analysis of the main indicators, and also tables and diagrams with statistical data on the socio-economic and demographic situation of the country.

The pocket-book contains statistical information regarding demographic, social and economic situation of the country for 2012-2015. The main indicators are presented in territorial aspect.
Between 19 to 22 April 2016, the STATREG Project organized the first session of the Training of Trainers courses, in the use of regional statistics. Under the programme, participants, the representatives from the National Bureau of Statistics, Ministry of Regional Development and Construction, Regional Development Agencies (North, Center and South) and the Executive Committee of Gagauzia, have developed their training skills in the use of regional statistics.
From April 5th to April 8th, STATREG project organised a training course on small area estimation in the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova.This training was delivered by Professor Domingo MORALES GONZALES of the University Miguel Hernández de Elche and trainees came from the National Bureau of Statistics and the Academy of Economic Studies.
In 2015 the Open Data Watch - Open Data Inventory (ODIN) www.odin.opendatawatch.com assessed the coverage and openness of official statistics in 125 mostly low- and middle-income countries and has developed a report "How open are official statistics?". According to this study, Republic of Moldova has ranked nr.2 in the world and nr. 1 in Europe on coverage and openness of official statistical data.
The EU project "Improved Regional Statistics” in Republic of Moldova, in collaboration with the Academy of Economic Studies of Moldova and National Bureau of Statistics, organized on March 29, 2016 the Workshop "Education and Training in Regional Statistics in Republic of Moldova".

As part of the project activities STATREG in February, representatives of the NBS conducted study visits to statistical offices in Romania and Lithuania, which were aimed at studying the experience regarding the development of macro-economical indicators in agriculture and the use of Social Security data for the compilation of statistics on the number of employees and earnings.

During 18-20 January 2016, a team of the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS), headed by the General Director, Mrs. Lucia SPOIALA, participated in a study visit to the Office for National Statistics of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, organised in the framework of bilateral cooperation project with Statistics Sweden.

The publication presents the results of enterprises activity (including small and medium) received as a result of data processing of the Sampling Structural Survey spent in 2014, with application of sample survey methods.
