Between 9-26 September, the National Bureau of Statistics (NBS) is conducting training seminars on the implementation of the household statistical survey "European Health Interview Survey" (EHIS) for interviewers. Considering the complexity of poverty, a wide range of indicators is used internationally to analyze it. Thus, poverty can be measured based on monetary aggregates, such as consumer spending or income, but also using non-monetary indicators and multidimensional approaches.

Republic of Moldova ranks 17th out of 198 countries and 3rd in Eastern Europe in Open Data Inventory
According to the latest Open Data Inventory (ODIN) 2024/25 assessment by Open Data Watch organization, the Republic of Moldova ranked 17th globally out of 198 countries and 3rd in Eastern Europe in terms of coverage and openness of official statistical data. Moldova received an overall score of 79 out of 100, an improvement of 3 points compared to the previous edition.
