National Bureau of Statistics informs that in 2022 the number of live births was 27,0 thousand persons, decreasing by 2,4 thousand children (or 8,1%) compared to 2021. Of the number of live-born children, 51,6% were boys, with a sex ratio of 107 boys per 100 girls.
