On the occasion of Europe Day, the day of peace and unity in Europe, celebrated annually on May 9, the National Bureau of Statistics presents the statistical brochure "Republic of Moldova (RM) versus European Union (EU-27)".

The brochure includes the most important and latest available data, which presents the socio-economic situation of the Republic of Moldova compared to the European Union (EU-27 average). The data are useful for the general public, as well as for the decision-makers for the development of the country's social and economic policies.

Data on the Republic of Moldova are official statistics available on the NBS website www.statistica.gov.md and Statistical Databank, and the source data for the EU-27 is Eurostat database (Statistical Office of the European Union).
